LEDs are likely my favorite electronic component.

Adding LEDs to a project will guarantee a higher grade on said project. 

 

Projects:

 

Acrylic dancers - gifts for Dance Theater Group performers

Light Box - put things on top of this and make them light up

Donut - project itself didn't involve LEDs but looks cool with lighting from the sides.

Liquid Light - uses principles of total internal reflection to make a lighted fountain

Domino Table - draws approximately 1.5A to light 48 LEDs. Creates cool side-lighting affects.
